Indigo jeans

So while researching indigo I found the the first jeans were made by Jacob Davis and Levi Strauss in 1873. The only two styles were indigo blue and brown cotton "duck." I also found out that jeans made today are made with a synthetic indigo versus real indigo.
While weaving with indigo yarn I really want to incorporate jeans, using a supplementary weft, so I can create my own form of indigo jeans.

I want to use jeans that are made with synthetic indigo with yarn dyed with real indigo so that together they create authentic indigo jeans.

Below I have listed some sites that talk about the history of jeans and the history of indigo.

So recently I had a friend read my aura for a video project and she told me my aura was deep blue. When I researched blue I found out that it relates to the throat and thyroid. It also represents cool, calm, and collected. Caring, loving, love to help others, sensitive, intuitive. I found this ironic since I am doing my color study on blue, more specifically indigo blue. The link below is a website of how to read auras and another website on aura color meanings...

While doing research on indigo I found out some interesting facts on indigo on wiki.

I also found this great website called ISCC-NBS Dictionary of Colo(u)r Names, it was a different shades of indigo.

Looking for indigo day to day has brought me to researching the properties of indigo and artists who use indigo in their artwork:

I made my own indigo bath the other day and it went very well. At first I was worried that I would some how mess it up by letting too much oxygen in but it turned out well. I dipped my yarn in four times and the color was a deep dark blue, I also dyed a second set of yarn, I dipped it 2 times and the color was a medium blue instead.
